At Central Moving & Storage your Orlando Mover we believe in giving back to the community. Just recently your premier Orlando Moving Company finished an Extreme Village Makeover project at Give Kids the World. Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization that provides a weeklong stay in the Orlando area for children with life threatening illnesses. Central Moving & Storage received over 300,000 pounds of furniture in their Orlando warehouse. These items were stored until the contractors renovated the 88 villas. Central Moving & Storage along with it’s team of 70 Volunteers from other Wheaton/Bekins agents delivered the furniture for these 88 villas in 14 hours. This renovation was one of the fastest renovations done by Central Moving & Storage. There was a total of 8 contractors that worked around the clock for 10 days to finish the villas. The whole project was headed up by Wyndham Vacation Ownership. The planning and preparation for this Extreme Village Makeover was a year in the making.
At the appreciation luncheon President Pamela Landwirth gave keys to the Village to 5 of its key people involved. Jason Fontaine with Central Moving & Storage was one of the recipients. This was the first time in Give Kids the World history that a key was given.
